REVENUE GOAL

How many products do you need to sell to reach your revenue goal?

You need to sell 400 units per month at $25.00 each to reach $10,000.00 in monthly revenue.

How to calculate Amazon revenue

Amazon revenue is simply your gross sales: selling price × units sold. If you sell a product for $25 and move 100 units in a month, your monthly revenue is $2,500, and your annual revenue is $30,000. This calculator runs that math instantly as you type.

Revenue is the top line of your business, before any fees or costs come out. That matters because many sellers look at a big revenue number and assume it is profit. It is not — revenue is the starting point, and everything else is subtracted from it.

Amazon revenue vs profit: know the difference

Revenue and profit are not the same thing. Revenue is the total money your sales bring in. Profit is what remains after you subtract every cost, including Amazon fees, product cost, advertising, returns, and storage. A store can show strong revenue and still earn little or nothing.

The "revenue after Amazon fees" figure in this calculator is still not profit, because it has not yet removed product cost and other expenses. To estimate your actual profit per unit after product costs, use our Amazon Profit Calculator, which walks through the full cost breakdown.

How much do Amazon sellers make per month?

There is no single answer, because income depends entirely on price and volume. A seller moving 100 units a month at $15 earns $1,500 in revenue, while one moving 500 units at $30 earns $15,000. The revenue reference table above shows these scenarios side by side for your current price.

Remember that revenue is not take-home pay. From that $15,000, the seller still pays Amazon referral and fulfillment fees, product costs, shipping, advertising, and other expenses. The gap between revenue and profit can be large, which is why both numbers deserve attention.

How many products do you need to sell to make $10,000 a month?

The formula is simple: required units = revenue goal ÷ selling price. A $10,000 monthly goal at a $25 price means selling 400 units a month, or about 13 units a day. At a $50 price, the same goal needs only 200 units a month.

That is why the revenue goal calculator above is useful — it shows how price and volume trade off against each other. Raising your price reduces the volume you need, while a lower price means you must sell more units to reach the same target.

How Amazon FBA fees affect your revenue

If you use FBA, Amazon charges a referral fee — a percentage of the selling price that varies by category — and an FBA fulfillment fee based on the product's size and weight. Turn on Advanced settings above and this calculator estimates those fees so you can see your revenue after them.

Because referral fees are tiered in some categories, the fee is not always a flat percentage. This calculator applies category-specific rules, so a clothing item at $12 and one at $25 are each charged at their own tier. Keep in mind these are estimates, and actual fees can differ.

Turn Amazon revenue tracking into an automated workflow with EasyClaw

Estimating revenue is useful, but running an Amazon store means repeating the same work every week: pulling sales numbers, updating spreadsheets, checking fees, and preparing reports. That repeated copying and formatting is where EasyClaw helps. EasyClaw can automate your Amazon operations workflow by collecting sales data, organizing your metrics into a consistent view, generating reports, and triggering follow-up tasks across the tools you already use.

For example, an EasyClaw workflow could gather your latest sales and fee numbers, apply your pricing rules, and produce a weekly performance summary — so you spend your time on decisions instead of data entry. Start with one repeatable step, such as collecting daily sales into a single report, then let the workflow grow. Frequently asked questions about Amazon revenue

How do I calculate Amazon revenue?

Multiply your selling price by the number of units sold. For a month, that is selling price × units sold per month.

What is the difference between revenue and profit?

Revenue is gross sales before costs. Profit is what remains after Amazon fees, product cost, advertising, returns, and other expenses.

How many products do I need to sell to make $10,000 a month?

Divide $10,000 by your selling price. At $25 per unit, that is 400 units a month; at $50, it is 200 units.

Does revenue after Amazon fees equal profit?

No. It still excludes product cost, advertising, returns, storage, and other operating expenses.

How do Amazon FBA fees affect revenue?

Referral and fulfillment fees reduce what you keep from each sale. Enable Advanced settings to estimate them against your revenue.
